Some info about me
In the early 1990's I was an active member of the Arafura Pistol Club in Palmerston in the Northern Territory. Primarily shooting IPSC in its early days and 25m Rimfire target pistol disciplines whilst taking on the role of treasurer in 1992/1993.
Joined the SSAA (NSW) Snowy River Branch in 1994 upon returning to New South Wales from the Northern Territory to support hunting and animal control activities, and then in 2012 joined the Snowy River Pistol Club at the Coolamatong range to return to IPSC practical pistol shooting.
In 2013 I took on the Pistol Club Captain role and later IPSC delegate, IPSC training officer and pistol club armourer roles. Since 2014, I have represented the pistol club at numerous NSW and VIC IPSC state titles and selection matches along with Charles Bradshaw and Glenn Fletcher.
I am pleased to take on the presidency of the N14 branch which now includes the disincorporated pistol club as a branch pistol club.
One of the aims for the committee in 2022 is to improve communications, and to this end it is hoped that the launch of this new website and expanded usage of social media, will assist members in attending branch activities.
